The UAE Golden Visa is a 5- or 10-year renewable residency that does not require an Emirati sponsor and allows the holder to stay outside the UAE for longer than the usual six-month limit.

• Outstanding students — top high-school graduates and top university graduates with strong GPAs from recognised institutions.
